Dunn AC Limited were asked by our client to be the main HVAC contractor to carry out the refurbishment of Velocity V1 building on the prestigious Brooklands Estate.
The supply and installation of 7X Daikin VRV systems feeding 70X Daikin indoor concealed fan coil units serving the 2nd and 3rd floor. Complete new interconnecting insulated refrigeration pipe work, cable tray, fixtures and fittings were supplied and installed along with new power supplies and communication cabling. 70X Daikin branch selector boxes were supplied and installed to allow independent control to all zones of the building.
In addition to the 7X VRV systems, a further 3X mini Daikin VRV systems were installed to supply cooling to the 2nd and 3rd floor comms room feeding 3X Daikin under ceiling fan coil units. In addition to this, 1X Samsung direct expansion cooling coil was installed to supply cooling to the newly installed commercial kitchen.
All systems were installed with universal tank pumps to allow for drainage. Wall mounted controllers were installed to allow local control and these were also linked to the site BMS system to allow remote control. Full operation and maintenance manuals, test and commissioning certification and user training following the successful completion.
